I move away... then I come back to visit my daughter for Thanksgiving.
Thing is, with all the post-matrimonial, um, bliss in the air, having the GF with me, I%26#39;m left looking for a restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner in Boise. Any suggestions?

Yikes. The crickets are deafening.
Thanksgiving Suggestion
I will keep my eyes open for advertisments for Thanksgiving dinner openings. We always stay in so I will try and keep you posted.
Hi
some of the up scale hotels put on a nice buffet if they have a decent restuarant
I used to go to the Red Lion Riverside.
try Chandlers for romance or the Red Feather. If it has to be TGD of turkey, you could search the web for offerings in Boise
I agree with Chandlers (a little on the expensive side) - Cottonwood Grille - Murphy%26#39;s - Red Feather...or try the restaurant in the Bank of America Center...don%26#39;t know the name, but they have a great chef.
Also Murphy%26#39;s is always good. I also like the Cottonwood Grill (nice). We keep having so many resturants closing lately that I will have to keep my eyes open if you pick one!!! They are falling like dominos!
Asiago%26#39;s might have a dinner. My first thought was Cottonwood Grille. The atmosphere is nice and I have never had bad food there.
Good Luck!
You might want to check with the Owyhee Plaza Grill

I know they are usually open for limited hours on Christmas day with a nearly normal menu and prices.
ok, here is go again. we just had dinner at the red feather...starting with the asiago calamari..the best, then the red feather salad,,,with chicken maytag blue cheese, kalaua almonds, cant even remember the rest (must be the gasbar martini), and then salmon on a plank...heaven.
According to
http://www.owyheeplaza.com/events.php
it looks like special Thanksgiving dinner will be available at the Owyhee Plaza at the Gameskeeper and at The Grill.
