I will be traveling from Missoula to Salt Lake City through the Salmon/Stanley area and am looking for recommendations for any good rustic hot springs and/or swimming holes. Thanks!

200 miles south of Missoula is Challis, Idaho. There is a natural hot springs pool area south of town.
Challis Hot Springs consists of two pools = the HOT one that is not cooled and is indoors, and the outside larger pool that is cooled and has a natural river rock bottom (bring old walking shoes if you want to walk)...
There are ';community'; dressing rooms and the house is also a B %26amp; B if you want a place to stay.
The Soda Springs area is the obvious choice--you%26#39;ll go right through on your route south--lots of Oregon Trail stuff to see too.
