Looking for budget minded, dogfriendly hotel/motel

Hi,

I will be staying in Boise for 3 nights in the week after Laborday. I%26#39;m on a road trip with my dog. I%26#39;m looking for a central, clean and dogfriendly place to stay. We are on a budget. Any suggestions?

Thank you

Hendrika, I%26#39;ll suggest one that you won%26#39;t find on Hotels.com ... the Bond Street Motel Apartments www.bondmotel.com It%26#39;s an apartment complex which is now run as a motel. The units are nice and the charge for a dog is only $5.00 a night. We stay there when we go to Boise and have always had a good experience.

Hello Pug, thank you for the tips, do they also have some good options in Twin Falls and Idaho Falls? I see the generic/chain motels out there but if know some more local, non chain places to stay and are cozy, fun, clean, dogfriendly place. We could also opt to stay closeby to one of the towns if that helps. trying to figure thinngs out....my dog is no help. :)

My Boxer girl very much appriciates it although she%26#39;s a bit bigger... any tip is very much appriciated. To give you an idea of our travel pathL Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park, love to make itr to Glacier Park up north, I would like some suggestions, thank you,

Hendrika, when my brother brings his dogs along, he stays at the Holiday Inn Express on Fillmore -- pet friendly (or at least it used to be) and close to the canyon, where you can either walk along the rim or down into the canyon. I don%26#39;t know of any indie motels around here, at least any I would recommend!!

Not sure about Idaho Falls -- I know they have a lot of motels/hotels right along the river, which would be nice for Ms. Boxer to walk along.

There are a lot of indie places in West Yellowstone but I haven%26#39;t stayed at any of them, so I can%26#39;t recommend any. Hope others will jump in!

I%26#39;ve been staying at the Extended Stay America in Boise (on Vista). My last trip had a family with dog in the next room. Don%26#39;t know charges for the pet, but I booked my room on Hotwire for about $35/night. Clean, decent, and has a kitchenette.
