We are going to visit family in Boise next Christmas (Dec. 09). We have 3 children (ages 6, 14, and 16 then). Two other children live there (ages 4 and 6). We want to ski for a few days but also want to see the sights out there -we will be traveling from VA so want to take advantage of visiting! We will probably rent a huge van for all of us (9 people) to travel in and spend a week out and about. What would you suggest we put on our itinerary? We are active and want to see what we can in a week. Yellowstone? Where should we ski? Thanks!

ski in sun valley, when we have snow (ok, it is supposed to snow tonite) we have the best skiing in the us...great for families..check out pennays condos, just google it, great place to house all of you and right by the lifts. enjoy

Hi, I wouldn%26#39;t plan a trip to Yellowstone at that time, if you%26#39;re coming for a just a week. Only the north entrance of Yellowstone is open to cars at that time of year. Otherwise you go in on a snowcat tour.
I agree with Charley -- you gotta go to Sun Valley to ski. Rent a van, drive from Boise, get the condo, enjoy life for a few days.
