It appears to me that there are two Salmon River Lodges. One is located in Stanley and the other is at a place called Corn Creek. Can anyone verify this? If this is correct, it appears that the second one claims to be 70 miles from the nearest community. Does anyone have any experience with the second one at Corn Creek? That is was it a nice place to stay, how was the food, scenery, activities (especially for kids)? Any information would be helpful. Thanks!
Salmon River LodgeThough I am not familiar with this particular lodge, I can tell you that there are a handful of lodges in the Idaho wilderness, and they are indeed at least 70 miles away from civilization. Idaho has more wilderness than any state except for Alaska, and the mid-section of the state is virtually roadless. If you want to get away from people, a back country lodge in Idaho is a good way to go.
