Jerry's Country Store and Cabins.. not good

We%26#39;re from the Boise area and decided to take the in-laws on the ';Sawtooth loop'; (Boise-Idaho City-Lowman-Stanley-Ketchum). We rented a couple of cabins at Jerry%26#39;s Country Store %26amp; Cabins. On the plus side, the location is great. The rive is so close you could probably cast a fishing line from the back porch and the view is magnificent.

The facilities however were badly in need of repairs. The faucets in our cabin were hooked up backward (hot on the right), and whoever built these had minimal carpentry skills. The screens were coming out and the roofs decayed and losing shingles.

The worst part was it was a warm evening and even when the night cooled off the cabin was hot and stuffy, even when we opened the windows. A ceiling fan would have been a blessing.

One likes ';rustic'; when going to the mountains, but these cabins badly need remodeling.

One bright spot - breakfast at the ';Bakery.'; Awesome ';home-cooking';. The crowd at the place told the story - very popular place.

Avoid the ';Mountain Village Lodge.'; Food was overpriced and less than good.

Jerry's Country Store and Cabins.. not good

as i say, can%26#39;t beat the Danners Cabins...always a joy. next time
